Tim Spann - Basketball League Commissioner
Week 3
Another exciting and
fun week. There were some good games played this week: another come-back, overtime, hard fought games, and even some tempers
flaring at times. You name it, and it was definitely there. On 11/23: It was Adiyats 89, Enterprise 83. Both teams were
undefeated at the time. Adiyats continues to look good. They're playing some good basketball so far. The game in itself
was a good game with: clutch shooting, good defense, exciting and athletic plays by both teams. It was a good game to
watch. Adiyats was led by Jamal with 35 pts, and Enterprise was led by Jason with 18 pts. Another come back by ACN. They
won again, coming from behind in the second half to beat Max-Out in double over-time, 70 to 66. When it seem that ACN was
going too be beat, they continues to chip away at the lead; played solid defense and had some luck (It helpped that Max-Out
missed two free throws with 3 seconds remaining in regulation that could have closed the deal) This was a fun game to
watch. It's always exciting to see a team come from behind. The game had all of the excitement of a NCAA rivalry game.
ACN was led by Dedrick with 17 pts, and Max-Out was led by Mike with 23 pts. Other games that was played the week were:
On 11/24, The Defenders defeated the Hustlers, 56 to 49. Unfortunately, the game had to be stopped with 2 minutes left
due to some tempers getting in the way in what was a good game. The Good-Fellas beating Laurel Heights, 73 to 54. Good-Fellas
shot the ball extremely well. They were led by Mano, with 27 pts. Laurel Heights was led by Tony with 24 points. TCIO
beat NS Players, 72 to 40. TCIO was led by newcomer, Kyle with 31 points and Travis with 24 points. They're looking good.
Kyle is a great addition to their team. NS Players was led by Jeff with 16 points. NS Players are a good team; once they get
a couple of things in place, they're going to surprise a few teams. And finally, The Rock Boys beat Reminants,
69 to 56. The Rock Boys finally got most of their players back. And you can tell. They got this young guy ( I think his
name is Josh) who can "get up". He had a couple of "play of the day" dunks. He's fun to watch. Thank you for another fun week. I'm looking forward to some games that's coming up. Any comments that you may
have; let me know.
